Job summary

Cosy Club Sheffield is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with food preparation and dishwashing, helping keep the kitchen clean and safe. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with tips, meals on every shift, and paid breaks, plus perks like Wagestream and 50% off food and drinks from day one across all Cosy Club brands.

This temporary Christmas contract may extend to a permanent position at the hiring manager's discretion, with progression opportunities to chef as you gain

Qualifications

• Support the kitchen team by assisting with food preparation.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• No prior experience required; suitable for kicking off a career in a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and plating where needed.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized and ensure hygiene standards.
• Support during busy periods and help manage breaks.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
