Job summary

Boclair Care Home in Glasgow's Bearsden area is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time, dayshift contract. You will help deliver high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen, working 30 hours per week at £12.71 per hour.

You will support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with deliveries and stock, and collaborate with the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential if you show reliability and team

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality meals in a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment.
• Assist with food preparation and stock organisation.
• Assist with deliveries, storage and stock Organisation.
• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely at all times.
• Maintain a consistent routine and develop experience in a supportive kitchen environment.
