Job summary

gobecare is hiring part-time Flexicare Bank Kitchen Assistants to support meals service at a Coatbridge care home with shifts 7.30am–7.30pm across 7 days.

Take part in flexible contracts with a minimum of 1 shift per week, receive a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour, and access induction, training, and ongoing support.

Shifts are managed via online rota; free parking on site and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar role and able to work weekends.
• You should have a flexible approach to work and be willing to complete full training.
• Experience welcomed but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• To help prepare meals under the direction of the Chef
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are hygienically clean
• To load the dishwasher and/or wash-up by hand when required
• Helping the Chef ordering of supplies if required
• Being fully aware of food hygiene regulations
• Complying with infection control policies and hand hygiene measures

Our Flexicare Bank option allows you to manage your own availability when you cannot commit to set hours. Offering you the flexibility to do 1 or 2 shifts per week.

We are currently looking to hire part-time Flexicare Bank Kitchen Assistants to assist with the meals service at our Care Home in Coatbridge working shift patterns over 7 days between 7.30am and 7.30pm. If you are an experienced Kitchen Assistant then we would be very interested in hearing from you.
