Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will help with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and assist with deliveries and stock organisation as part of a busy team.

The role is part-time (4pm–7:30pm) with PVG paid, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable approach to work.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation and stock organisation.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene across shifts.
• Assist with deliveries, storage and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with Chef and team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
