Job summary

Boclair Care Home in Glasgow's Bearsden area is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time, dayshift contract. You will help deliver high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen, working 30 hours per week at £12.71 per hour.

You will support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with deliveries and stock, and collaborate with the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential if you show reliability and team

Contract: Part Time

Contracted hours: 30 hours

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
