HC-One is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to deliver high-quality meals with compassion in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will assist with preparation, serve meals warmly, and maintain kitchen hygiene while following recipes and recording information accurately.

The role requires some kitchen experience and an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or willingness to pursue it.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and record information.

Aufgaben

• Assist with meal preparation under supervision.
• Serve meals with warmth and respect in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Monitor and record food storage temperatures.
• Support stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients.
• Demonstrate proper use of kitchen equipment to new team members.
• Wash up and keep the kitchen spotless after busy periods.
