About The Role

Kitchen Assistant - Bank Team

Location: Buxton House Residential Home - Weymouth - DT4 0QJ

Pay rate: £12.30 per hour

Hours: Bank

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the bank team at Buxton House, a purpose-built, friendly, social, residential, and dementia care home located near the historic Jurassic Coast in Weymouth, Dorset.

Join Our Team:

Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential, but you should be prepared to work in a busy, fast-paced role.

We are looking for a caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.

Flexible in your working hours and willing to be part of our larger kitchen team.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with basic preparation of fresh, nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks for residents
• Assist in providing residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
• Keep kitchen and dining areas hygienic and clean
• Wash all cooking appliances and crockery; sanitize all food preparation areas
