Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential as we will provide all necessary training, although prior experience in a fast-paced environment to high standards is beneficial. If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are looking for a challenge, this could be the role for you. Be versatile and willing to take on additional challenges as you develop in this key position.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital.
2. Assist in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Clean all areas of the catering department daily to the agreed standard.
4. Ensure adherence to current health and hygiene regulations in the preparation and service of all foodstuffs.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Possess Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (if not held, company-funded training will be provided).
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and achieving excellence in service delivery.
• Outstanding professional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, outgoing personality.
• A keen eye for detail and attention to detail.
