ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant involves working as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained within the home. You will operate according to our standard procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are upheld.

Other responsibilities include:

• Carrying out all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and their personal space and belongings are always respected.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
