Job summary

Lyndon Hall Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will support food preparation, keep the kitchen tidy, and assist with deliveries and stock management alongside the Chef and team.

The role offers a consistent routine in a supportive workplace with opportunities to develop kitchen skills and gain DBS-paid benefits.

Lyndon Hall Care Home is a 79 bed care home located in West Bromwich, West Midlands. Providing residential, nursing and dementia care, the home offers a welcoming and supportive environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care. • £12.95 to £13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
