Job summary

Haling Park Care Home in Croydon, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen.

You will assist with food preparation, keep areas hygienic, help with deliveries and stock, and work closely with the Chef to ensure smooth daily operations. Full-time hours with paid benefits are on offer.

• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential

Job description

Located in Croydon, London, our care home has been purposely built to support older people in making the most of every day. We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite & Pallative Care for 62-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
