Job summary

Cygnet Woking is seeking a full-time Kitchen Assistant to support the chef and catering team in a private hospital. You will help prepare and deliver meals, maintain hygiene, and work a 40-hour rota including weekends.

The ideal candidate has catering or hospitality experience, is polite, professional, and a good communicator, with the ability to work on your own initiative while adhering to health and safety standards. Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow instruction from Chef Manager and supervise staff as needed.
• Clean and wash cutlery, crockery and kitchenware.
• Keep floors and walkways clean and safe.
• Assist in serving meals and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and fire drills.
