Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Coopers Croft Care Home in Stoke-on-Trent. You will support meal delivery, food preparation and stock management in a clean, well organised kitchen alongside the Chef and team.

The role offers a consistent shift pattern from 9am to 3pm, paid DBS, uniform and a range of benefits through the Care Concern Group. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, and you will contribute to high quality, safe meals every day.

About Coopers Croft Care Home

Our 48 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care. Located in Stoke on Trent, Coopers Croft offers a welcoming environment with bright day spaces, beautiful gardens, a cinema room and comfortable en suite bedrooms. The home has a strong community feel, with a focus on meaningful activities, independence and person centred care, creating a rewarding environment for colleagues to make a genuine difference every day.

Kitchen Assistant

• £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 19.25 hours per week 9am to 3pm
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
