Job summary

Hamberley Care Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Dorking Manor, our luxury care home in Surrey, to support chefs in planning and delivering nutritious meals for residents with dietary requirements.

You will help plan, prepare and serve balanced meals while maintaining Food Hygiene Standards, stock control, and accurate fridge temperature records. The role offers a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, pension, training and a true team culture.

What you'll be doing

Supporting the Chefs in the planning and provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents.

Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.

To ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and ensure that safe methods of work are always used.

Manage all stocks and stores ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place.

To maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks.
