Hamberley Care Homes in Nottingham is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our Edwalton Manor kitchen, delivering high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a similar catering role.
• Committed to customer care and first-class service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chefs in the planning and provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents.
• Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
• To ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and ensure that safe methods of work are always used.
• Manage all stocks and stores ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place.
• To maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirement such as fridge temperature checks.
