Job summary

Meallmore are seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Antonine House in Bearsden, Glasgow. You’ll join a busy kitchen team, support chefs with basic tasks, maintain hygiene and cleanliness to high standards. This role offers a 22.5 hour week across three days with alternative weekends, and a competitive benefits package.

Experience isn’t essential; full training will be given. A caring, team-oriented approach to residents is essential, with a proactive attitude to food hygiene and safety.

• Day-to-day kitchen operations support.
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained.

Set in the welcoming community of Bearsden, Glasgow, Antonine House is a modern 81-bed care home providing residential, nursing, elderly dementia, respite and palliative care in a warm and supportive environment. Our experienced team delivers compassionate, person-centred care, helping residents live with dignity, comfort and independence. Salary: £12.76 per hour

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week, alternative weekends)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. A good kitchen is a clean kitchen, and as a kitchen assistant you’ll be tasked with ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness are the best they can be whilst supporting chefs with basic tasks.
