Job summary

Meallmore is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant in Bearsden/Glasgow to support a busy kitchen team. You’ll help with washing dishes, keeping areas clean and assist with basic food preparation under supervision.

The role offers training, a friendly team, and opportunities to contribute to residents’ wellbeing within a supportive environment.

• Assisting in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. A good kitchen is a clean kitchen, and as a kitchen assistant you’ll be tasked with ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness are the best they can be whilst supporting chefs with basic tasks.

Role & Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required under the supervision of the chefs
• Unloading deliveries and storing food items properly
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of kitchen duties
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained
