Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Springvale Care Home in Lennoxtown. The role supports the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen and works closely with the Chef and team to ensure smooth operation.

You will help with food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and stock management, contributing to a reliable, well‑organised kitchen daily routine.

Qualifications

Our luxury care home based in Lennoxtown, delivering the highest levels of Residential, Dementia, Respite & Nursing care for 96 residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well‑organised kitchen environment. This is a hands‑on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well‑organised kitchen environment.
