Himley Mill Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. This hands-on role involves food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with deliveries and stock organisation while working with the Chef to ensure smooth, safe operation.
The position is permanent and part-time (18 hours per week) with a pay rate of £12.95–£13.45 per hour. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, and a reliable, team‑oriented
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
