Job summary

Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen’s West End is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals in a safe, orderly kitchen. You will work closely with the Chef and team to maintain standards and efficiency.

The role offers a consistent routine with opportunities to develop experience in a supportive kitchen environment. Full-time, days shifts, 37.5 hours per week, with benefits including PVG, pension, and uniform provision.

Catering and Hospitality - Rubislaw Park Care Home

Contract: Full Time

Shift Type: Days

Contracted hours: 37.5 hours

We are an award-winning care home and nursing facility, based in Aberdeen’s West End. We deliver exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for up to 86-residents.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
