Job summary

The Fairlie Healthcare Group is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at Fairlie House in West Norwood. You will help prepare nutritious meals, assist the Chef and ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation for our residents.

Your role focuses on supporting daily meal service, contributing menu ideas, and upholding dietary and cultural requirements while fostering a positive dining experience in a caring home environment.

• Assist with preparing breakfast, lunch and supper.

• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure dietary, nutritional and cultural requirements are always met.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team. Good nutrition plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our residents, and you'll play an important part in ensuring every meal is prepared and served to the highest standard. If you enjoy working in a supportive environment where your contribution is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

You’ll be successful if you have:

• Full Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position and cannot accept Student Visa or Skilled Worker Visa applicants)

Previous Kitchen Assistant Experience (preferred But Not Essential)

• Good organisation and time management
