Job summary

Guthrie House Care Home in Edinburgh is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support daily meal preparation for residents. You will work closely with the kitchen team to help prepare fresh meals, handle deliveries, and maintain cleanliness and food safety throughout the kitchen.

Flexible shifts on a 30-hour contract with paid PVG, pension and uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave available on a full-time equivalent basis, with opportunities to grow within a compassionate care environment.

• Experience in kitchen or food preparation is helpful but not required.

Kitchen Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
