Job summary

YOURS is seeking a passionate retailer to provide top-notch customer care in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a dedicated team that champions our brand and fashion range, delivering outstanding service to every customer.

As a key member of the store team, you will handle till duties, assist with deliveries, stock, and housekeeping while supporting management. A friendly, proactive attitude and a strong interest in High Street fashion are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with face-to-face contact is highly desirable.
• Experience in a retail environment with a quality brand is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of High Street fashion.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management as needed.
• Cash up at the end of the day and follow procedures.
• Provide back-up support to Store/Deputy Manager and report issues.
• Optimise sales and drive individual customer purchases.
• Engage customers with first-class service.
• Operate till and handle financial transactions.
• Replenish stock and assist with deliveries and stock handling.
• Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Take responsibility for personal development and seek improvement opportunities.
• Responsible for Health and Safety.

KEY DUTIES:

• Responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management as and when required
• Cashing up at the end of the day and ensuring correct procedures are followed as and when required
• Providing back up support to the Store/Deputy Manager and reporting back to them on any issues
• Optimise sales and individual customer purchases.
• Engage the customer by delivering a first class customer service.
• Operate till and handle financial transactions.
• Replenish stock with our fantastic products and specialist brands.
• Assist with deliveries and stock handling on a regular basis - we are busy!
• Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures.
• Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement.
• Responsible for Health and Safety.

This contracted hours stated above is a guaranteed weekly minimum but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexibly is required especially during peak trading periods.

Pay Rates: £13.10 per hour regardless of age
