The Company Recruiting for Key Account Manager - Electrical Testing Equipment:

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic UK £1 billion company, established for over 30 years. The particular division within this business that is recruiting is a distributor and manufacturer of the widest range of electrical testing equipment in the market. Superb customer support coupled with competitive pricing has led to strong customer loyalty and rapidly growing sales. In the last 5 years, they have grown revenue by 50%, maintaining a healthy margin by taking market share, and they are now looking to continue this growth by recruiting an ambitious, energetic Key Account Manager.

The Purpose of the Role of Key Account Manager - Electrical Testing Equipment:

As Key Account Manager, your remit will be to grow sales within a mainly established customer base which consists of the DNOs (electricity distribution network operators), National Grid Electricity Distribution, and Scottish & Southern Energy across south Wales and southwest England, and their electricity infrastructure contractors such as Enerveo and Connect It Utility Services. There will also be an element of developing new spending contractor customers.

A typical week will be 4 days visiting customers externally and 1 day working from home, so a willingness to travel across the territory is essential.

For the position of Key Account Manager - Electrical Testing Products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of two years B2B field sales experience
  • Must have at least a basic level of knowledge of electrical engineering by either being on the tools or by selling electrical equipment/products
  • Energetic, competitive, and motivated by exceeding targets
  • Great relationship and account management skills
  • Driving licence

Benefits of this Key Account Manager - Electrical Testing Equipment:

  • £45,000 - £55,000 base salary DoE, plus £15k bonus, uncapped
  • Company car, plug-in hybrid type
  • 6% company contribution, life assurance
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
