Description du poste

An ambitious, independent craft brewery with a growing presence in the UK drinks market is looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused Key Account Manager to help drive growth across its national and regional On Trade and wholesale accounts.

With a strong focus on quality, innovation and building lasting customer relationships, the business is looking for someone who can combine account management with a proactive approach to winning new business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent brewery where you can make a real impact, explore new routes to market and play a key role in driving commercial growth.

This role will focus on developing key accounts across the On Trade, wholesale and independent pub and bar sectors. You'll take ownership of customer relationships and account plans, driving distribution, volume and profitability while identifying new opportunities to grow the business. It's also a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their commercial skills and progress towards future leadership.

The Role:
  • Developing and managing national and regional key accounts across the On Trade, wholesale and independent pub and bar sectors
  • Building and owning account plans focused on increasing distribution, sales volume, profitability and brand presence
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities, including new sites, product listings and routes to market
  • Building strong relationships with key customers and developing joint business plans that deliver results for both parties
  • Working closely with wholesale partners to improve performance, strengthen relationships and unlock new opportunities
  • Supporting existing accounts to maximise brand visibility, product availability and rate of sale
  • Negotiating pricing, commercial terms and promotional activity while protecting margins and profitability
  • Managing sales pipelines, pre-selling and forecasting accurately to support effective planning and production
  • Working collaboratively with internal sales and marketing teams to maximise account performance and deliver commercial objectives
  • Delivering customer training, supporting events and representing an ambitious independent brewery in the market
  • Monitoring account performance, maintaining accurate CRM data and providing timely sales reports and forecasts
  • Taking ownership of sales targets, account performance and personal development, with the opportunity to grow into a future leadership role
About You:
  • Experience in sales, account management, business development or a similar commercial role
  • A background in beer, drinks, hospitality, FMCG or wholesale would be advantageous
  • Experience managing customer relationships and developing joint plans to drive commercial growth
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand sales performance, identify opportunities and protect profitability
  • A proactive approach to winning new business and developing existing accounts
  • Confident communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build lasting customer partnerships
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable taking ownership of your own accounts, targets and workload
  • A clear communicator who can share customer insights and market opportunities with internal teams
  • Ambition to develop into a leadership role, with previous team management experience not essential
  • A genuine passion for beer and pride in representing a brand you believe in
  • Experience working with UK supermarket or wholesale accounts would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of craft beer, the wider drinks trade, CRM systems or retailer data portals would be advantageous
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers across the UK

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
