Role Overview

Heatmiser UK, part of IMI Climate Control, seeks an experienced Key Account Manager to support and service our UK customer base remotely. Reporting to the Head of Residential Sales, UK & Ireland, the role involves maintaining relationships, driving growth, and supporting both Heatmiser and IMI brands in sectors like Underfloor Heating and Renewables.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation and Management: Identify and nurture potential customers.
  2. Customer Engagement: Build relationships and understand client needs.
  3. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales plans.
  4. Quoting and Proposals: Prepare accurate and compelling offers.
  5. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams for excellent service.
  6. Market Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends and technologies.
  7. Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns effectively.
  8. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies.
  9. Product Training: Deliver training across the value chain.
The Person
  • Business or Sales Qualifications: Degree or diploma in relevant fields preferred but not essential.
  • Technical Education: Background in Engineering or Environmental Science is advantageous.
  • Additional Training: Courses in sales management, negotiation, or industry certifications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in heating controls, underfloor heating, or renewables.
  • Critical Competencies: Market expertise, sales planning, customer relationship management, technical knowledge, negotiation, analytical skills, adaptability, communication, problem-solving.
