Job summary

Lucy Walker Recruitment is seeking a Freight & Logistics Coordinator / Key Account Coordinator for a busy commercial team. The role focuses on customer service, relationship building and ensuring shipments move smoothly.

You'll handle enquiries, bookings and documentation, work with suppliers and overseas agents, and identify ways to improve the customer experience. Candidates with sea freight experience are welcome, but training is offered for the right attitude and commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, import/export, logistics or related customer-focused roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries by phone and email.
• Monitor and manage a shared inbox.
• Process bookings and input data accurately.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents.
• Prepare, check and issue customer documentation.
• Produce bills of lading and issue instructions.
• Understand customer requirements and ensure delivery.
• Prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
