HEINEKEN UK is seeking a Process Technician for the kegging production line at our Tadcaster site. Reporting to the Shift Leader, you’ll own production tasks, lead TPM activities and coach team members to improve efficiency and output.

The role is permanent with a starting salary of £34,040 per year plus a shift allowance of £9,373 and accompanying benefits. You’ll operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, while ensuring health, safety and quality standards are met.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 Engineering Maintenance & Installation or equivalent.
• Maths & English GCSEs.
• Good understanding of IT Systems.
• Packaging experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and clean equipment, carry out basic maintenance, and respond to defects, losses and breakdowns. Sustain and improve standards using TPM.
• Carry out first line troubleshooting, reduce short stops, correct set up issues and escalate to Technicians when needed.
• Actively lead & provide TPM activities such as Centre lining, change-over reduction, APM steps 0-5, unified problem solving, shift handovers, team meetings and training.
• Adhere & champion all health, safety, environment and hygiene policies, support a zero accident culture and look for ways to improve workplace safety.
• Complete all quality checks accurately and aim to make products First Time Right (FTR).
• Know the processes and machines well, find root causes of failures and losses, report irregularities, and work with colleagues to prevent recurrence.
• Complete cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening on time and in full, and carry out allocated basic maintenance to keep machines in basic condition.
• Carry out mechanical, process and IT procedures, including changeovers, following the SOP.
• Help improve performance indicators, reduce raw material and product loss, and control stock using SAP.
