Job summary

Heineken UK is seeking a Process Technician to support the kegging production line on site. You will own production processes, escalate issues to the Shift Leader and drive TPM improvements while coaching team members.

You will operate and clean equipment, perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and quality checks. A proactive mindset, GCSEs in Maths/English, and IT systems literacy are essential; packaging experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Engineering Maintenance & Installation or equivalent.
Maths and English GCSEs are required.
Good understanding of IT systems and software.
Packaging experience preferred but not essential.
Passion to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and clean equipment, carry out basic maintenance and respond to defects, losses and breakdowns.
Lead TPM activities and contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving.
Carry out first line troubleshooting, reduce short stops and escalate as needed.
Adhere to health, safety, environment and hygiene policies; support a zero-accident culture.
Perform quality checks and ensure products meet First Time Right standards.
Know processes and machines, identify root causes of failures and report irregularities.
Carry out cleaning, inspection, lubrication and basic maintenance on schedule.
Work with SAP for stock control and process improvement.
Complete SOP-driven tasks and support ongoing capability building.
