Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Ocho Lounge, a local café bar. This growing hospitality brand offers up to £13.30/hr plus tips, plus benefits such as staff meals and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping the team deliver great shifts and ensuring every dish leaves the pass to spec. If you love real cooking, care about the people around you, and want to grow into a senior kitchen role, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong kitchen skills including prep, plating and cleanliness.
• Good hygiene and food safety practices, with allergens awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high standards every shift.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and ensure dishes go out to spec.
• Own your section, monitor prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist in allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance.
