Job summary

Loungers plc is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join the Orto Lounge kitchen. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help the team deliver great shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is to spec. This is a fantastic step for a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef aiming for more responsibility.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. The role supports career development with pathways and training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Knowledge of allergens, hygiene and food safety practices.
• Reliable and punctual with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and prep to spec.
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Take ownership of your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness and food safety.
