Job description

We are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef – Holborn Dining Room to join our Kitchen team at Rosewood London. The Junior Sous Chef – Holborn Dining Room reports directly to the Senior Sous Chef and supports the Sous Chefs in all culinary areas of Holborn Dining Room.

Key expectations of this role

• Observing methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner.
• Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoring
• Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.

Profile

• The ability to support and develop others effectively.
• Proven culinary skills in an upscale and high volume restaurant environment.
• The ability to build strong relationships with the floor team of Holborn Dining Room.
