Job summary

Loungers’ Truro Lounge is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head/Sous Chef, ensure dishes go out to spec, and help develop your career in a growing hospitality brand.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals, day-one discounts, and opportunities to progress through our career pathways. Evening/weekend shifts required; part-time or flexible contracts available.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Previously a Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie is a plus.
• Ability to follow allergen processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Ensure prep is ready and dishes go out to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold food standards.
• Help newer team members develop skills and confidence.
