Job summary

Olmo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensure dishes go out to spec and help the team deliver great shifts.

We offer up to £13.30 per hour plus tips, a flexible hourly contract with shifts including evenings and weekends, a free meal on every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one, plus career development.

Qualifications

• Currently a Junior Sous Chef or a Senior/CDP seeking next step.
• Reliable and punctual team player.
• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Knowledge of allergens and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure safety.
• Support and develop junior staff.
• Ensure every plate leaves to spec.
