Job summary

Apex Hotels in Bath is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support our culinary team and help deliver a high-quality food offering across our property. You will assist the Head Chef, work with supply partners, and help drive efficiency while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

You will be involved in stock control, cost analysis, and developing a multi-skilled kitchen team to perform during busy service periods. Our culture values warmth, inclusion, and personal guest touches.

Qualifications

• Clear and influencing communicator able to interact across levels

• Food Safety Management and Professional Cookery qualification at Level 2 or above

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all food and sundry costs through stock control
• Analyse and present monthly P&L commentary with corrective actions
• Assist with payroll and food cost analysis
• Help develop a multi-skilled culinary team
• Be highly visible during key service periods with attention to culinary delivery
• Maintain focus on customer needs and personalised service
