Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a knowledgeable Junior Sous Chef for Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath. The role involves supporting the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience, working closely with the Head Chef and team, and helping with food preparation, presentation, and service.

This full-time position offers a starting rate of £17.27 per hour plus a service charge, 5 days out of 7 on a rota, and a comprehensive benefits package including 28 days holiday pro-rata and employee wellbeing

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role in a quality hotel or restaurant.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for high standards, learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests.
• Assist with food preparation and service, maintain high standards of presentation and flavour.
• Contribute to day-to-day kitchen operations and lead by example during service.
• Assist with stock control and food safety standards.
• Support junior team members and menu preparation for events.
