Job summary

Apex City of Bath Hotel in Bath is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to help spearhead our culinary experience and drive high-quality food across all outlets. You will work closely with the Head Chef and supply chain partners, bringing energy and attention to detail during peak service periods.

You will develop a multi skilled team, focus on guest-centric service, and engage in cost control, payroll support, and ongoing menu development to deliver memorable guest experiences at every service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of all food and sundry costs through rigorous stock control measures.
• Analyse, and present monthly profit and loss commentaries with follow-on corrective activity as directed by the Head Chef.
• Assist with Daily / weekly payroll and food cost analysis in accordance with forecasted and materialised revenue levels.
• Assist the Head Chef in developing a multi skilled culinary team with payroll flexibility.
• Be highly visible at key service periods focusing attention to detail on culinary delivery.
• Maintain team focus on the customer's need with service personalisation.
