Job summary

Soho House in Bath is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will prepare, cook, and present dishes reflecting the club’s food philosophy while demonstrating high technical standards and a proactive approach to hygiene and training.

Working with the Sous and Head Chefs, you’ll lead mise en place, train juniors, participate in tastings, and help run smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy venue.
• Passion for food with attention to detail and a desire to learn.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to high standards.
• Support Sous Chef and Head Chef during service and events.
• Ensure HACCP and hygiene compliance.
• Lead mise en place and prep tasks for service.
• Assist in training of Commis and Demi Chefs de Partie.
• Attend front- and back-of-house briefings and conduct tastings.
• Contribute to team meals and dietary consideration.
• Demonstrate proactive learning, improvement, and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning and proper storage at end of service.
