A National Sports Centre in Shropshire is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to support the Senior Sous Chef in delivering exceptional restaurant services. Location: Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre, Shropshire, TF 9AT
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: 1pm to 9pm, 5 days out of 7, with weekend work required for functions and events.
At Lilleshall, our goal is to get more people active more often. We provide affordable access to sports and leisure facilities to support healthier, happier communities. We are a National Sports Centre, home to various National Governing Bodies of Sport, and also serve as a Conferencing and Event Centre.
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Senior Sous Chef in delivering the restaurant services at Lilleshall. Your responsibilities include preparing and cooking for our customers, ranging from small groups to larger parties, and ensuring excellent service.
You will help maintain a safe, fun, and professional working environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent service. It is desirable to have Food Safety qualifications, previous chef experience, knowledge of table service, stock ordering, computer literacy, and understanding of seasonality.
