wagamama Ltd is seeking a Junior Sous Chef in Oxford to support leading shifts and the kitchen team, ensuring every dish meets high standards. You’ll collaborate with management to run a vibrant kitchen and maintain exceptional food quality and service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen or shift teams in a busy restaurant environment.
• Ability to plan shifts and ensure proper cover during service.
• Understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
• Awareness of kitchen financials including gross profit, stock and labour costs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the management team to run a vibrant, high‑performing kitchen.
• Ensure food quality and the overall kitchen vibe remains high.
• Support and motivate the team, making them feel seen and proud.
