Compass Group UK is seeking a proactive Junior Sous Chef for our Canary Wharf kitchen. In a fast-paced, professional environment, you will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations and help maintain high standards of quality, presentation and hygiene.

You’ll contribute to menu development, lead by example, supervise junior team members and ensure consistency across all dishes. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours), a competitive hourly rate, and clear opportunities

Junior Sous Chef – Canary Wharf

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step up and play a key role in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Position Details

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (great work-life balance – no weekends!)

• Pay: £19.47 per hour

• Team Size: 19 kitchen professionals

About the Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene while contributing to menu development and team leadership.
