Job summary

Cosy Club Birmingham is seeking a Junior Sous Chef with experience in fresh cooking and high-volume service. You will help lead a kitchen brigade and support the Head Chef in their absence, ensuring consistent quality.

You will work with a team across FOH/BOH, maintaining open communication and a collaborative atmosphere. The role offers development opportunities and a balanced work-life focus with structured shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.
• Ability to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Strong communication with all team members up and down the ladder.

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
