Job summary

Loungers plc is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef for Cosy Club St Albans. The role offers an hourly rate with tips and a focus on work-life balance, including 2 days off and a weekend off every six weeks.

You will lead a kitchen brigade, cook from fresh at high volumes, and maintain strong collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Rewards include meals on shift, paid breaks, and various staff incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from fresh in high volumes.
• Must be very organised and able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade.
• Ability to communicate with all team members up and down the ladder, fostering strong FOH & BOH relations.

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
