Job summary

Cosy Club Leeds is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join our team. You will cook fresh, high-volume dishes and help maintain fast, quality service across shifts.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in a branded or independent kitchen, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate well with team members at all levels. Full-time hours, great staff perks, and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking fresh food in high-volume environments.
• Ability to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in absence of Head Chef.
• Strong organisation and communication skills across FOH & BOH.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence and maintain service flow.
• Work with FOH & BOH to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experience.

As one of our Junior Sous Chefs, you could get on target earnings of between £16.60 and £18.30 per hour

• Hourly rate of between £13.10 and £13.30 per hour depending on experience
• Estimated tronc of £3.50 - £5.00 per hour

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
