Job summary

DXC Technology in Cheltenham seeks a Scrum Master Manager to lead agile teams onsite five days a week. You will drive high-quality outcomes, remove blockers, and facilitate ceremonies in a secure, customer-focused environment while upholding our people-first agenda and healthy work-life balance.

The role requires strong leadership, servant-influenced coaching, and the ability to guide teams through Scrum practices, with a commitment to inclusion and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Run daily, weekly, and monthly agile rituals efficiently.
• Remove impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress or guide the team to remove them by finding the right personnel/process.
• Track work progress to identify blockages and developer/engineer divergence from allocated tasks.
• Guide the team, Product Owner and organisation on how to use Agile methodology/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
• Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels.
• Good skills and knowledge of true leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgement, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
