Job summary

SF Recruitment are partnering with an established Derbyshire business to recruit a Junior Sales Manager. The role is on-site, permanent and full-time, reporting to the Sales Director to drive new business and support ongoing accounts.

You will handle CRM activity, proposals, tenders and customer communication, while coordinating internal teams to ensure prompt order updates and responses. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales support or business development, with strong organisation,

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support, business development or account management.
• Understanding of lead generation and managing sales pipelines.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Director in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Maintain CRM systems, sales pipelines and opportunity trackers.
• Prepare customer proposals, presentations and commercial documentation.
• Coordinate tender submissions and respond to customer enquiries.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Support relationships with existing customers and develop new contacts.
• Arrange customer meetings, product demonstrations and site visits.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and customers on orders and delivery updates.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and management information.
• Support contract administration and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow up on customer actions and ensure timely enquiries.
• Assist with exhibitions, events and customer meetings as required.
