Job summary

Reiss Limited is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support planning and trading of our product categories, helping to deliver sales, stock and margin targets through accurate reporting, strong data management and commercial insight.

You’ll work closely with the wider Merchandising team and cross-functional partners to ensure our systems, stock and product information are up to date while supporting key trading decisions throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in merchandising, retail or head office environment.
• Highly organised and detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confident with data and numbers, with strong analytical skills and commercial insight.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support range planning and buying by preparing historical sales and fast-selling product information for buy meetings.
• Produce daily and weekly sales and trading reports to support decisions.
• Maintain merchandising systems, line cards and Never Out of Stock lines with accurate data.
• Manage intake reporting and supplier critical paths, flagging changes and impacts to launches.
• Raise and maintain purchase orders and barcodes across Range Plan and country splits.
• Support markdown activity and manage picture packs for different channels and regions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, DC and cross-functional teams to manage delivery amendments and stock information.
• Develop merchandising expertise by working with the Assistant Merchandiser and wider team.
