Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser for our Manchester-based team. You will actively manage stock performance across categories, driving trading decisions to meet sales and margin targets across retail and digital channels.

You will analyze sales trends, lead trade reviews, and provide insights to optimise stock, allocations, and replenishment while partnering with ecommerce and retail teams to maximise visibility and sell-through.

Qualifications

Strong numerical and analytical capability.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis).
Strong commercial awareness and market sense.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with ability to present insights.
Ability to take ownership and proactively manage workload.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
Lead or co-lead weekly trade reviews, presenting category performance and actions.
Provide data-led recommendations on trading actions (markdowns, rebuys, stock movement).
Support delivery of sales and margin targets through trading decisions.
Own and trade the stock file, including allocations and replenishment.
Maintain WSSI and support forecasting and reforecasting decisions.
