Job description

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom
Salary: 24000GBP DoE

Are you interested about technology and eager to build your career in software delivery and programme coordination? We’re looking for a Junior IT Delivery Coordinator, internally known as Associate Release Engineer, to join our dynamic delivery team, supporting the smooth operation of our Agile Release processes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering impactful healthcare software that supports real change in people’s lives.

In this role at System C, you’ll begin your journey by learning from experienced professionals and gradually take ownership of key planning ceremonies and release management activities. You’ll support teams to stay aligned with goals, and track progress using tools like Jira and Confluence. Over time, you’ll build confidence and competence to independently lead delivery events and manage cross-team coordination.

You’ll work closely with senior members of the team, development and product teams, testers, and business stakeholders. From managing dependencies and mitigating risks, to maintaining clear delivery documentation and championing Agile practices, your role will be central to ensuring smooth and timely delivery.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, enthusiastic about continuous improvement, and ready to dive into Agile methodologies. If you’re someone who enjoys connecting teams, promoting transparency, and thrives in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in organising and supporting key planning sessions and meetings with the technical teams.
  • Monitor team progress and manage dependencies using Jira and Confluence.
  • Track risks and support issue resolution throughout the Program Increment.
  • Ensure release readiness and maintain documentation in Confluence.
  • Promote Agile practices and contribute to retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Build stakeholder communication skills by supporting engagement and progress reporting.

What You’ll Need:

  • Good understanding of technical processes.
  • Ability to work with technical teams.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • A proactive, learning-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with Jira or Confluence is a plus but not required.

This is an ideal entry-level role for someone looking to progress into Agile programme delivery. With our structured development programme, you’ll grow into a confident Release Coordinator who helps shape how our products are delivered to market. Join us and help make a real difference through innovative technology in health and social care.

At System C, we prioritise transparency in our job requirements and selection criteria, ensuring they are based solely on the essentials needed for effective job performance. We consciously avoid assumptions that could skew our perception of a candidate’s suitability for hire.

Our recruitment practices are designed to ensure that no applicant is unfairly disadvantaged by procedures or requirements that disproportionately affect protected groups without being essential for the job.

For every position, we develop a detailed job description and person specification. This approach maintains our focus on the true demands of the role and the skills, experience, and qualifications necessary. During interviews, we involve multiple interviewers where possible to further mitigate unintentional bias, thereby promoting a fair and equitable hiring process.
