Job description

Jobstore are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our clients busy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and logistics processes. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate strong organisational skills, a great eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all finished products arrive at the customer’s premises in the correct condition, and has been packed and labelled correctly.
• Inspecting all finished products prior to dispatch.
• Utilise the warehouse management systems for stock tracking and stock management.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are employed for heavy items.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory checks.
• Conduct regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with transport systems and WMS systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently when required.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols, including documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
